Supporting you is one of our top priorities. That’s why, from the moment you join Coleg Cambria, you’ll receive tailored support from your Personal Tutor whenever you need it. You’ll also have weekly one-to-one and group tutorials, where your tutor will closely monitor your progress to understand how to help you best throughout your time with us.
Your tutor will help you settle into college, guide you through your course, offer support through any difficult times, monitor progress closely, and of course celebrate successes! We won’t just tell you how important this is to us; we’ll show you. We’ll invite any parents or guardians into college within the first few weeks of term, so they can also meet your Personal Tutor and get to know them.
If you have additional learning needs, our Additional Support Team will work with you to make sure you’ve got everything you need to fulfil your potential.
We’ll help you to achieve your goals by making an Additional Learning Plan with you. If you need it, specialist equipment will be provided to support you in your studies and regular tutorials can be arranged on days that suit you.
We know that being a carer or a young carer is incredibly challenging. We’re committed to improving your overall wellbeing and opportunities while you’re with us. For more information, please contact Carer Lead Greg.Otto@cambria.ac.uk
If you’re a looked after child we understand that it may impact your college experience, which is why we’re committed to helping you in any way we can. If you need any information or support, please don’t hesitate to contact Karen Senior on

Our chaplains come from a variety of Christian backgrounds including Anglican, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, and Free Church Chaplains.
Throughout the year they support a variety of college events including Activity Fests and Mental Health Week, as well as highlighting Christian festivals.
Chaplains can also facilitate student groups where students might want to meet others with similar beliefs or explore the big questions. They’re also very happy to pray with you, or for you, if this is something you would like. They are also happy to share their personal faith with you, but they will never tell you what to believe, or try to make you change your own beliefs.
